Vaddio is launching the new AV Bridge Mini, first introduced at InfoComm. The AV Bridge Mini HD Audio/Video Encoder makes it easy to encode, capture and stream content. It provides the popular features of the Vaddio AV Bridge and AV Bridge Conference in a new compact half-rack size along with several important updates.

“The AV Bridge Mini gives integrators the ability to incorporate high-definition video and audio sources into any soft conferencing or live streaming application,” said Rob Viren, Vaddio Product Manager. “Enterprise users expect high-quality audio and video performance from their computers, so whether you want to record, live stream or conduct a video conference call, the AV Bridge Mini encodes your AV signals and outputs simultaneous USB 3.0 and IP streaming with 1080p quality.”

The AV Bridge Mini bridges any high definition HDMI and audio source into soft conferencing applications such as Skype, Zoom and WebEx through the powerful USB 3.0 interface. With the AV Bridge Mini and its flexible RTMP capabilities, creating production-quality live streams on platforms like YouTube Live, UStream, LiveStream and Panopto has never been easier.

Typical applications include video conferencing, lecture capture for higher education, corporate streaming events, hard codec and soft codec rooms, as well enabling system recordings directly onto a laptop or other storage device.

The HDMI input on the AV Bridge Mini accepts 4K (2160p/30fps) signals, and encodes and scales appropriately to output simultaneous USB 3.0 and IP streaming with 1080p quality. It integrates with external DSPs by providing two balanced audio line inputs and outputs.

AV Bridge Mini is PoE powered, making it easy to extend power and connectivity. It is also simple to install with its compact half rack unit size.
