Is ViewShare Microsoft Certified?

The Logitech C930e and Jabra SPEAK components included with ViewShare are both Skype for Business Certified, and optimized for use with Skype and Lync.

Does ViewShare Fusion work with other peer-to-peer software beyond Lync and Skype?

ViewShare’s components are optimized for use with Lync and Skype, and Skype for Business Certified, but should work with any peer-to-peer software that allows the input of external audio/video devices.

Does the ViewShare Fusion camera have pan, tilt and zoom capabilities?

Yes. The Logitech Webcam C930e includes zoom to 4x in 1080p and has an optional light application for control of pan, tilt and zoom.

Are there multiple options for positioning the ViewShare Fusion camera?

Yes. ViewShare Fusion has options for placing the camera above, below and between displays. Above/below models include 180˚ of swivel, 0-180˚ of tilt and 3.1-6.3” (79-160 mm) of depth adjust. Center models include 3.2-5.2” (81-132 mm) of depth adjust and no tilt or swivel.

Is ViewShare compatible with both PC and Mac devices?

Yes, ViewShare is compatible with Windows 7 or 8 and Mac OS X 10.7 or higher.

Do I need to download drivers for the Logitech camera?

It is not necessary to download drivers for the Logitech camera, but is highly recommended to ensure optimum camera performance. The optional light application is required to utilize the pan/tilt capabilities.

ViewShare is using my device’s audio input/output – how do I get it to use the Jabra speakerphone?

Windows – In Lync/Skype click the gear wheel to open the Options window > choose Audio. Select Jabra SPEAK 410 USB from the drop down menu.

OS X – Go to the Lync/Skype menu > Preferences and choose Audio or Audio/Video. Select Jabra SPEAK 410 USB from the drop down menu.

ViewShare is using my device’s internal camera – how do I get it to use the external Logitech camera?

Windows – In Lync/Skype click the gear wheel to open the Options window > choose Video. Select Logitech Webcam C930e from the drop down menu.

OS X – Go to the Lync/Skype menu > Preferences and choose Video or Audio/Video. Select Logitech Webcam C930e from the drop down menu.
