Solutions for Federal, State and Local Government
Today’s advanced AV technology helps all areas of government operate efficently – from local city councils, to state agencies and federal advisory committees, to courtrooms and the military.
AV equipment plays a vital role in keeping areas of the government communicating effectively. For example, video conferencing cameras in a courtroom, virtual public hearings, live streaming of city council meetings, and equipment for 911 control and command centers all keep government facilities and citizens connected. As the government adjusts to the new normal, this equipment is more vital than ever. Legislation like the Coronavirus Act 2020 allows for courts to broadcast virtual hearings to the public, and cities are investing heavily into video conferencing and livestream technology for their council chambers.
Taking Screens to the Extreme
The Da-Lite Design Center designed a curved screen for an event that was 140’ wide and 25’ tall in an aircraft hangar. The time-lapse video shows the test run conducted to ensure the final product would exceed customer expectations.
