At their headquarters in Fredrikstad, the company recently upgraded their lobby - a multifunctional space used for welcoming guests and hosting internal meetings – with a sleek, high-quality projection solution that reflects their own commitment to excellence.

The Challenge

The lobby at Norxe’s headquarters serves as both a reception area and a meeting space. During presentations and customer visits, a projection screen is needed to showcase content with clarity and impact. However, the screen also had to meet two critical requirements:

  • Visual performance that complements Norxe’s own cutting-edge projectors

  • Discreet design that blends seamlessly into the space when not in use

Finding a solution that delivered both image quality and aesthetic appeal was essential.

The Solution

Norxe selected the Da-Lite Tensioned DescenderPro with SightLine – a ceiling-recessed projection screen that disappears completely when not in use. The SightLine feature replaces the traditional black drop with nearly invisible cables, allowing for flexible height adjustment and a clean, modern look. Combined with premium screen fabrics, this solution ensures exceptional image clarity while maintaining the sleek design of the lobby.

Installation Experience

Installation was smooth and straightforward, thanks to the DescenderPro’s thoughtful engineering and the flexibility offered by the SightLine system. The screen integrated perfectly into the ceiling architecture, preserving the open feel of the space. The projector used in the setup is the P60, chosen to showcase Norxe’s own technology in action.

The Results
