Ok, enough with the preliminaries. Let’s get to the main event. Here are the top solutions to see at the show from each brand.

OUR “MUST SEE” LIST

Middle Atlantic Forum Collaboration Suite

The Forum™ Collaboration Suite is Middle Atlantic’s answer for the hybrid video conference space. In 2022, it won the Good Design award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design; and it won a bronze award from the International Design Awards.

Forum with ultrawide display

The heart of the collaboration suite is the Forum Display Stand. Designed for both open floor plans or more traditional enclosed meeting spaces, the display stand is available in free-standing or floor-to-wall mounted versions in either dark or light finishes.

Even if you’ve seen it before, we’ve made some significant upgrades. The stand can now support up to a 98” display, 21:9 ultrawide displays or dual displays. Our booth at InfoComm will feature a Jupiter ultrawide display in a Teams environment that you won’t want to miss.

Developed in partnership with Focal Point, a Legrand lighting sector brand specializing in acoustic lighting solutions, the display stand and included display shroud are wrapped in acoustic felt. This material helps dampen audio reverberations to provide the highest quality audio experience for both in-person and remote audiences.

The collaboration extends to using the best our brands have to offer. Chief mounts open up the Forum to a full line of accessories to fully customize the installation with a Vaddio camera.

Chief Voyager AV Cart

Voyager is Chief’s compact mobile display solution to support flexible conferencing and collaboration in workspaces and digital signage. Be sure to note the built-in cable management and small device storage thanks to Middle Atlantic’s LeverLock technology. The slim footprint of Voyager invites users to easily step up to interactive displays and move freely around the cart. This is a cart that was made for engagement.

Camera and speaker mounts add a wide range of conferencing and collaboration technologies to support meeting platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and more.

Manual height adjustment accommodates multiple heights and displays sizes up to 75” and 79.4 kg weight capacity for interactivity. Flat panel TVs can be mounted in portrait or landscape orientation. For those who want to use the full capabilities of displays like MS Surface Hub and Samsung Flip 2, the Freestyle Flat Panel Rotation Adapter Accessory (FRA) can be added to allow automatic rotation adjustment from landscape to portrait orientation.

Middle Atlantic NEXSYS Power

NEXSYS is built on a promise that Middle Atlantic has kept for over two decades – more than half the life of the company – that their products are designed, engineered, and built for AV. It’s one thing to say it, it’s another thing to prove it.

NEXSYS combines power distribution and power backup into a comprehensive and cohesive product platform, united by design – both internal and external – making it the easiest choice when specifying or buying power products for your AV systems. We all know that a true power platform requires both distribution and backup to deliver the ultimate AV experience.

Designing a power platform with both PDUs and UPSs that have a consistent look and are built with the highest quality components for the finnickiest of AV gear gives you the confidence to Just Choose NEXSYS.

NEXSYS boasts a broad range of standard features, technologies and form factors for all AV equipment and applications from digital signage to classrooms or stadiums. In fact, at a minimum, every NEXSYS product has surge protection, voltage protection, communications via dry contacts and a 15 Amp and 20 Amp companion!

Da-Lite Tensioned Advantage with SightLine

SightLine offers a sleek alternative to the standard black border above the projection area with 3 or 4 thin aircraft-grade cables that can be extended up to 70 on-site. Need an even longer drop? Now we have a new option for a 10-foot drop to install SightLine in rooms with high ceilings.

The single roller design suspension system, available with Tensioned Advantage and Advantage screens, simplifies AV setups by creating space above a screen to place cameras or speakers while its low-profile design preserves a room’s architectural integrity.

The biggest installation advantage of this feature is the elimination of precise room measurements to order the exact length of black drop needed. The cable drop can be set at any length along the continuum on site – saving time and potentially costly mistakes.

This and many other Da-Lite screens also come in 21:9 ultrawide format to take advantage of the newest conferencing technology.

Vaddio IntelliSHOT-M and RoboSHOT 30E-M HD PTZ Camera

Vaddio continues to grow their line of cameras Certified for Microsoft Teams. Since last year, they’ve launched the IntelliSHOT-M auto-tracking camera. Advanced IntelliFrame™ technology makes the IntelliSHOT-M camera ideal for auto-tracking presenters in boardrooms or perfectly framing a group of coworkers in larger conference rooms.

IntelliSHOT cameras

Vaddio’s IntelliFrame technology is the result of years of research and engineering, delivering the most natural and reliable auto-framing experience. Other cameras on the market rely on facial recognition, and typically fail with facial coverings or falsely identify objects like posters on the wall or woodgrain on furniture as people. IntelliFrame uses a combination of exceptionally sensitive motion detection and sophisticated algorithms to deliver smooth, accurate, and reliable participant framing – without using facial recognition.

Debuting at InfoComm 2023, the RoboSHOT 30E-M PTZ Camera brings the leading long-range camera to Microsoft Teams. With an impressive 30x zoom, the RoboSHOT 30E-M is perfect for medium and large rooms. Invite everyone to the front row of your Teams Room for lifelike conferencing, training and collaboration sessions.

C2G USB-C/HDMI KVM Switch

The king of connectivity is coming to the show with their new USB-C/HDMI Combo KVM Switch, which allows users to maximize productivity while easily switching between three computing devices using a single keyboard, display and mouse. Free up desk space by reducing the number of keyboards, displays and mice needed.

USB-C/HDMI Combo KVM Switch

The KVM switch supports a single USB-C enabled computer, tablet or phone as well as 2 HDMI enabled computers, streaming players, gaming systems and set-top boxes. The sharing extends to webcams, printers, USB flash drives and additional USB hubs. It’s like a real party in here!

And the party doesn’t stop there. The KVM supports USB-C power delivery up to 100W, resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz, HD digital audio and CEC passthrough over HDMI. On top of that, you get manual and auto switching all in one device.

Luxul’s New Managed Switches

Luxul is debuting their refreshed line of managed PoE+ AV gigabit switches. The updated UI simplifies setup and offers improved support for AVoIP installations. The eight (8!) new models feature powerful PoE+ budgets for powering network devices and come in a variety of port-count and rear/front port orientation options to support reliable, 24/7 display operation.

Intimidated? You won’t be after taking one of Luxul’s trainings offered during the show to make sure installers are at the peak of their network game.

Applications

The value of Legrand | AV goes far beyond our individual brands and solutions. We design to create whole-room solutions that enhance user experiences. These sections of the booth are a great way to see how the brands work together for specific applications.

Conferencing, Collaboration and Learning

Conference room

We’re continuing to learn every day from customers and end users about the new hybrid working and learning experience. The insights you provide help us to ensure that everyone has an equal seat at the table and is seen and heard. This includes supporting 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratios and other collaborative technologies. Be sure to ask about the new Chief wall-mounting system that’s going to be a game changer for mass deployments. Two wide-angle cameras will be running to show the difference between a camera for huddle spaces and a solution designed for capturing a wide student view.

Command and Control

Command Center

In our Command and Control area, we’re featuring LundHalsey consoles as well as a full suite of TAA-compliant furniture designed to support AV. Legrand | AV understands the importance of furniture design to guarantee unfailing AV performance, ergonomics, security and portability. These elements factor into all our designs across multiple brands that manufacture AV infrastructure solutions for government applications.

Of note will be a new control room console, Kontrol Plus, from LundHalsey. It delivers a blend of premium aesthetic design and high-quality detailing with high-performing ergonomic and functional features.

Digital Signage

Quick Serve Restaurant with Digital Signage

Digital Signage provides a touchstone between organizations and people across every aspect of life. We’re dedicated to strengthening those community bonds with reliable digital signage systems that unfailingly communicate consistent messaging where it’s most needed. The booth will showcase the wide range of options for display mounting – including TiLED Series modular dvLED wall mounts, ConnexSys video wall mounts, Impact Kiosks that include outdoor options, and many more.

The brands of Legrand | AV work behind the sign to fulfill the promise of exceptional audience experiences for QSR, retail, corporate, and transportation applications among many more. Look beyond the displays to Middle Atlantic power management, C2G connectivity, and Luxul gigabit switches to fully support your design.

Active Connectivity and System Optimization

Keeping everything connected reliably no matter the application is the mission C2G has pursued since its beginning. New additions this year include more Performance Series HDMI Active Optical Cables, HDBaseT transmitters and receivers, HDMI dongles and adapter rings and more.

It’s not just about C2G though. Middle Atlantic will encourage visitors to get their head in the clouds with the new RackLink Cloud platform for remote management and monitoring of the power ecosystem.

Speaking of power, every day it seems there just aren’t enough places to plug in devices, especially in older buildings. Wiremold has come to the rescue with the dash Power Tower, presented proudly in the hospitality vignette of the booth.
