Scaling MAR20X: Luxury Digital Signage Across 64 Canadian Dealerships

iGotcha Media Elevates Mercedes-Benz Canada’s MAR20X Customer Experience With Legrand | AV

How iGotcha Media Leveraged Chief Mounting Solutions to Deliver a Consistent, Luxury Digital Ecosystem Across 64 Dealerships

Introduction

Luxury automotive retail is evolving beyond the vehicle itself. Today's customer experience is shaped by cohesive design, intuitive digital touchpoints, and technology that integrates seamlessly into the physical environment. As part of its global MAR20X initiative, Mercedes-Benz Canada set out to transform its dealership network into immersive, future-ready spaces that reflect the brand's precision, innovation, and luxury standards.

To execute this vision across a planned network of 64 dealerships nationwide, Mercedes-Benz Canada required a technology integration partner capable of translating a globally defined design concept into consistent, high-quality local execution.

The Challenge

The MAR20X program originated at Mercedes-Benz's German headquarters, where a highly detailed design concept was developed encompassing architecture, furniture, and digital media integration. Early deployment plans relied on prefabricated fixtures shipped globally by a designated European vendor. However, once rollout began in Canada, it became clear that applying a uniform, highly customized design across dealerships with varying footprints and layouts presented logistical and installation challenges.

Mercedes-Benz Canada needed a partner that could preserve the integrity of the global design while adapting intelligently to local conditions, all without compromising aesthetics, quality, or consistency. The solution also required mounting and infrastructure products that met strict architectural standards while supporting large-format displays in non-traditional locations.

Following a competitive RFP process, iGotcha Media was selected as the lead technology integrator for the Canadian rollout.

"Our firm was proud to be chosen as the key integration partner to deliver excellence to all the dealerships across Canada," said Néstor Ballesteros, Director of Operations at iGotcha Media.

The Solution

iGotcha Media's mandate was to translate Mercedes-Benz's luxury retail vision into a functional, visually flawless digital ecosystem across every dealership. The scope included a range of digital signage applications such as video walls, ultra-wide displays, consultation stations, product discovery tables, and digital service menus, all designed to enhance consultation, service, and vehicle discovery.

To support these experiences, iGotcha Media selected Legrand | AV's Chief mounting solutions to anchor the visual installations.

"The ultimate goal was to bring the future of automotive retail to life by weaving luxury, seamless spatial design, and innovative digital platforms into every step of the customer journey," said Ballesteros. "From the start of the project, it was obvious to everyone involved that this was a job for Chief."

For the video wall installations, iGotcha Media turned to the Chief LVS1U ConnexSys™ Video Wall Landscape Mounting System with Rails. With installations spanning dozens of dealerships, each with its own architectural variables, the ability to align entire rows of displays from a single strut channel and make individual micro-adjustments to each display that kept the process efficient and the results consistent. Equally important was serviceability: the RapidDraw cord release system allows individual screens to be pulled forward for maintenance without disturbing the displays around them, a practical necessity for a nationwide program where uniformity and uptime at every location are non-negotiable.

The Results

By standardizing on Chief mounting solutions, iGotcha Media has delivered a consistent, premium digital experience across Mercedes-Benz Canada dealerships as the rollout, which began last year, continues toward the full planned network of 64 locations. The approach has reduced installation complexity, supported diverse architectural environments, and ensured compliance with global design specifications.

Most importantly, the technology blends seamlessly into each space, reinforcing the luxury environment rather than competing with it.

"Chief was chosen because they make products that fit precisely with what the architect firm overseeing the program had envisioned," Ballesteros noted. "That precision made it possible to deliver a consistent experience nationwide."

Conclusion

Through the strategic integration of LG displays and purpose-built Chief mounting solutions, iGotcha Media is helping Mercedes-Benz Canada fully realize the MAR20X vision, redefining the role of digital technology in luxury automotive retail.

The scale and complexity of the Canadian rollout required more than off-the-shelf products and standard installation practices. It demanded a partner that understood how technology, architecture, and brand experience intersect, and mounting solutions capable of performing reliably across a diverse network of locations without compromising the design intent established thousands of miles away. By selecting Chief, iGotcha Media was able to meet those demands while keeping installations efficient and the end result visually cohesive from one dealership to the next.

As the rollout continues toward the full planned network of 64 locations, the foundation that has been established sets a clear standard for what the program will deliver nationwide. The digital ecosystem across each completed dealership stands as a working demonstration that technology, when properly integrated, does not simply support a luxury experience but becomes part of it.

"This project has been an overwhelming success from all angles," said Ballesteros. "Thanks to Legrand | AV, and more specifically Chief, Mercedes-Benz hasn't just updated its retail concept, it has definitively redefined the luxury customer experience."
