InfoComm 2023 Recap

InfoComm 2023 Recap: Thanks for Another Great Show

Another InfoComm has come and gone. The booth was rocking this year, and we loved getting to spend quality time with our partners to learn about their latest challenges and how we can work together to create amazing AV experiences.

One thing you may have noticed at the show is a proliferation of corporate social responsibility messaging. We’ve been dedicating efforts to having less environmental impact while raising our diversity and inclusion goals for years. We shared these efforts around the booth and in case you want to hear more, take a tour of our new CSR page.

Whether or not you were able to go to the show, we've got a virtual booth tour to see it all for yourself.

What's New?

We wrote about many of our top solutions in the last blog, but there were a few we couldn’t talk about before the show. You have to have some surprises, right? Here are our InfoComm debuts.

Tempo Flat Panel Wall Mount System

Tempo Wall Mount System without display to show mounted equipment and power accessories.

Chief’s latest mounting innovation, Tempo™ Flat Panel Wall Mount System is an all-in-one configurable wall mounting system designed to improve efficiency by streamlining installation workflow. AV professionals can increase productivity and cost savings with this new system, especially for mass rollouts.

The new Chief Tempo Flat Panel Wall Mount System is thoughtfully designed with feedback from installers for faster flat panel deployments — from ordering and shipping to installation and servicing. Integrators can save time by ordering one part number. The Chief Tempo Wall Mount System is offered with an optional Middle Atlantic PD-715SC-NS slim profile, 7 outlet, 15A power strip. Two 15”x10” Lever Lock™ storage plates are included which can be preloaded with up to six small devices plus cabling and shipped to the job site. Panels can be added and easily moved along the mounting rail to store more devices. As a result, integrators can minimize last-minute shipping costs of missing parts.

The total installation depth facilitates ADA compliance with displays less than 2-inches in depth for typical sizes 49-86” with 970 x 450 mm mounting pattern. The mount pulls away from the wall for approximately 13 inches of service depth, allowing ample access to cables and AV equipment for simple, fast servicing. It can be installed on any wall including steel studs, wood studs, concrete, and block wall substrates. Shown for the first time at InfoComm 2023, the Chief Tempo Flat Panel Wall Mount System ships in the Fall 2023.

RackLink Cloud

RackLink_Cloud_Device

RackLink™, the industry's premier remote power management system, now offers device-level control through RackLink Cloud

Specifying Premium+ PDUs with RackLink allows for integrators to monitor and manage the equipment without the need for additional network devices.

In addition to RackLink Cloud, you can offer unparalleled device control flexibility with the native user interface, Luxul ProWatch integration, an open API, our partner platform integrations, and 3rd-party clouds, when you specify a Premium+ PDU.

RackLink Cloud provides an intuitive and centralized interface for device-level control. Seamlessly manage and monitor all Premium+ PDUs from anywhere in the world, unlocking new levels of efficiency, control, and customer satisfaction.

Integrators will gain instant real-time insights into power consumption, voltage conditions, and current draw of each PDU. They can take advantage of individual outlet management capabilities, including the ability to turn them on and off or perform power cycles, all accessible from the dashboard.

Furthermore, integrators can leverage the cloud platform to remotely configure and update PDU settings as well as receive instant notifications of power events such as over and under voltage. With these capabilities at their fingertips, they can reduce truck rolls, eliminate on-site visits for routine tasks, and optimize workforce allocation for improved uptime for your clients' systems.

AV Bridge Nano

AV Bridge Nano being used in an educational streaming environment.

Vaddio announced the launch of the AV Bridge Nano, a compact AV-to-USB bridge designed to provide seamless connectivity and versatility for videoconferencing. The AV Bridge Nano is a highly portable video capture and streaming device that complements AV systems in lecture halls, town hall meetings, or houses of worship.

Building upon the success of the AV Bridge Mini and AV Bridge 2x1, the AV Bridge Nano retains some of the most popular qualities of the full-featured AV Bridge models but in a highly portable, cost-effective device that IT and enterprise users will appreciate.

The AV Bridge Nano enables reliable streaming and video capture scenarios over USB or RTSP/RTMP without needing to purchase two separate devices. The essential feature set makes it ideal for the corporate user in cost-conscious applications that do not require the full functionality of the AV Bridge Mini. Mass deployments and remote management are a snap with the Free Vaddio Deployment Tool, while the Vaddio Device Controller touchscreen accessory adds simple in-room control. The HDMI pass-through feature makes it easy to integrate into Cisco codec setups.

The smallest chassis in the Vaddio AV Bridge lineup, AV Bridge Nano ensures ultimate portability and installation flexibility. It can be mounted under a table, behind a display, or within a mobile conferencing cart system with the optional table mount. The Kensington lock port provides a layer of security and protection.
